HMI design study with visual feedback and stylish appearance

HMI design study

The design and look and feel of a prod­uct are becom­ing increas­ingly impor­tant in B2B indus­tries as well (see also our blog entry from October 2019). At the same time, stan­dard touch sys­tems lack the hap­tic feed­back of input that was oth­er­wise pro­vided by a but­ton via the “click” or switch­ing point. Our lat­est HMI design study addresses these two devel­op­ments and attempts to solve them elegantly. 

We would par­tic­u­larly like to high­light the following:

design

  • Curved, dynamic shapes for an ergonomic hand position
  • High-​gloss fin­ish on glass and casing
  • 10,4″-Multitouch-Display
  • Palm detection/​operation (based on EN 574)

Visual feed­back

  • Central sta­tus light
  • Illuminated but­tons
  • Multicoloured ambi­ent light­ing (up to IP67 possible)
